Deep conditioners work best on clean hair and should be applied after the shampoo stage.

To allow for full penetration and maximum absorption of your deep conditioner, it is necessary to leave this on your hair for a minimum of 30 minutes - but no longer than one hour.

At the point of maximum absorption, the hair has absorbed all it can and the conditioner will only sit on the outside of your strands. Unlike with hair masks, it’s not advised to use deep conditioners as an overnight treatment.

In order to get the most out of your deep conditioner, try out the following tips:

• Apply heat: Heat around 35°C aids in the absorption of the deep conditioner - leading to even softer, luscious hair! Try either wrapping your hair in a heated towel, sitting under a hooded dryer or using in a steam room to boost its effects
• Apply regularly: Our hair isn’t going to repair itself, so regular deep conditioning not only makes our hair more resilient but minimises the damage over time. Once a week is a good goal to aim for but tailor this to your hair’s needs
• Apply alone: Deep conditions are like supercharged regular conditioners and therefore you don’t need to use any other rinse-off conditioning products. Avoid deep conditioning in the same wash cycle as co-washing or using a regular shampoo. You can have too much of a good thing so for best results use conditioning agents only when needed.

Deep conditioners are a rinse-off product so use as much as you need to make sure that all your hair is evenly coated, we don’t do dime-sized amounts around here!

Les soins profonds sont plus efficaces sur cheveux propres et s'appliquent après le shampooing.

Pour une pénétration optimale et une absorption maximale, laissez poser le soin profond pendant au moins 30 minutes, et pas plus d'une heure.

Une fois l'absorption maximale atteinte, le soin reste en surface. Contrairement aux masques capillaires, il est déconseillé d'utiliser un soin profond comme soin de nuit.

Pour optimiser les bienfaits de votre soin profond, voici quelques conseils :

Appliquez de la chaleur : Une température d'environ 35 °C favorise l'absorption du soin profond, pour des cheveux encore plus doux et éclatants ! Enveloppez vos cheveux dans une serviette chaude, utilisez un casque séchoir ou un sauna pour amplifier ses effets.

Appliquez régulièrement : Nos cheveux ne se réparent pas d'eux-mêmes. Des soins profonds réguliers les rendent plus résistants et minimisent les dommages au fil du temps. Une fois par semaine est un bon objectif, mais adaptez la fréquence aux besoins de vos cheveux.

Utilisation seule : les soins profonds sont comme des après-shampooings classiques ultra-concentrés ; vous n’avez donc pas besoin d’utiliser d’autres produits revitalisants à rincer. Évitez d’utiliser un soin profond lors du même cycle de lavage qu’un co-wash ou un shampooing classique. Un excès de produit peut être néfaste ; pour un résultat optimal, utilisez les soins revitalisants uniquement lorsque c’est nécessaire.

Les soins profonds se rincent ; utilisez-en donc la quantité nécessaire pour bien imprégner toute votre chevelure.
